Obituary
Passed peacefully away while surrounded by her loving family, at the Health Science Centre, on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend to all, Pauline Theresa Fleming (nee Watson), of St. Vincent’s, S.M.B, at the wonderful age of 95 years.
Predeceased by her loving husband of 49 years Kevin Fleming, son Donald Fleming, great-grandson Michael Paul Gibbons; sisters: Rose Stamp, Marion Ryan, Alice St. Croix and Bride Martin; brothers: Henry, Alec and John Watson and other deceased members of the Fleming and Watson families.
Leaving to mourn with loving memories, her daughters: Evelyn (Paul Gibbons), Sheila (Gerard Molloy) and Marianne (Frank Wagner); sons: Damian (Colette) Fleming, Kevin Fleming and Ross (Charmaine) Fleming, daughter-in-law Anne Fleming (John); grandchildren: Janice (Ross), Jeremy (Shannon), Julie (Dion), Jaime (Chris), Leona (Tim), Trudy (Dale), Stacey (Daniel), Leigh (Chad), Natasha (Blair), Stephen (Candy), Adam (Janice), Jillian (Dan), Melissa (Phil), Emily, Michael (Deidre), Mercedes, Brandon, Brady, Mikaela, Matthew and 30 beautiful great-grandchildren. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including a very special dedicated Homecare worker, whom she loved like one of her own, Marilyn Kielly. Also a special thank you to her past Homecare workers: Jose, Joanne, Janice and Bernadette.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Dr. Thomas McGarry for all his years of care and compassion, as well as Todd Squires and staff of St. Mary’s Pharmacy for their dedication and service.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Fr. Battock Memorial Chapel, St. Vincent’s, on Sunday, February 19, from 11 – 5pm; 7 – 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 20, at 11am, at Sacred Heart Church, St. Vincent’s. Burial to follow. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to The Ronald McDonald House or Dr. Jack Hand Legacy Foundation.
