Obituary of Paul David Monaghan
Peacefully and surrounded by family at the PEI Atlantic Baptist Home on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 the death occurred of Paul David Monaghan, formerly of Stratford, age 74 years.
Beloved husband of Maureen Monaghan (Richard). Loving father of Jason (Natasha) and Samantha Monaghan (Ritchie). Cherished grandfather of Harper, Tucker, Destiny, Max, Matthew and Breanna. Brother-in-law of Derek (Susan) and Ronald (Janelle). Predeceased by his parents Roland and Elsie (Brown); his parents-in-law Alice and Henry Richard; his son Blair and grandson Luke.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford from where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 10:30 am. Visiting hours will be Friday from 4 – 6 pm. Interment will take place later at the People’s Cemetery, Charlottetown.
Memorial donations may be made online to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the PEI Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home.
Paul’s family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home, especially the “B” wing staff. Your love, friendship and care with Paul since 2008 has been more than appreciated. God Bless.
