Lafond, Paul Robert
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital. Beloved husband of Margaret for 62 years, father of Michael (Laura), and Jeffrey (Caroline), cherished grandfather of Sam and Russell. He was the dear brother of George (Dale), Roland (late Marrilyn), and late Lucille. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
After achieving his Automechanics licence, Paul became a High School Auto teacher in the Niagara Region and completed a Bachelor’s degree at the University of Western Ontario. He and Marg bought a fruit farm in St. Davids during his working career. After retiring Paul and Marg moved to Sandhurst Shores in 2001 where they have made many friends and lived happily.
Family will receive friends at the Wartman Funeral Home, Napanee on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 6-8 pm. A service will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican, Sandhurst on Saturday, May 13 at 2pm with burial to follow at St. Pauls Church Cemetery.
Donations in lieu of flowers made to St Paul’s Church- Sandhurst or to the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Donations and condolences can be forwarded online through wartmanfuneralhomes.com
