Paul Francis Curtis

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Francis Curtis of Trepassey at the age of 75 years. Paul passed peacefully away at the home of his sister, Margaret, where he spent the last thirty-eight years of his life.
Paul was loved beyond words. He was a caring, kind, grateful and generous person. We cherish every moment that we spent with him. Some people want material things, but Paul just wanted peace, happy times and people who loved him. We were blessed to have him in our lives. He had a great love for all traditional Newfoundland music but his favourite of all was Isla Grant.
Paul is predeceased by his parents, William and Monica, his brothers, Thomas (wife Susan deceased) and Eugene (wife Lucy deceased), and two nephews Randy and Leroy.
He leaves to mourn his sister Margaret (Ted) Winters as well as a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends, especially nephews Barry and Eugene and most especially Geoffrey Winter who was Paul’s best friend and Paul’s private driver on many trips around the “Harbour” and out to the “Cove”.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Fahey’s Funeral Home, Trepassey on Saturday, April 22nd from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Mass will be on Sunday, April 23rd at 11:30. The inurnment will be at the family plot of the old Holy Redeemer Cemetery immediately after.
