It is with profound sadness that the family of the late Patsy Bridle announce her passing on Sunday, September 17th, 2023, at the Labrador Health Centre in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL at the age of 61 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband: Mervin; her children: Starsky (Sharon), Kim (Bronson) and Tyla; special nephew: Philip; as well as her dog daughter: Willow. Her grandchildren: Talen, Caylee, Brendan (Brooke); and great grandchild: Brennan. Her brother: Cory (Wanda); her sisters: June Fowler, Crystal (Joseph) Pike, Kerry (Joseph) Davis; sister-in-law: Kelly McIlroy. Her mother-in-law: Julia Bridle; sisters-in-law: Audrey (Ian) Slade, Rita (Eric) Paul, Velda (Randel) Layden, Mona (Garland) Pye, Jean (Chris) Caron; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Patsy was predeceased by her parents: Shirley and Henry Fowler; her father-in-law: Robert Bridle; her brother: Newman; her grandparents: Fredrick and Sarah Fowler; Charles and Flora Davis, and her cousin: Barry Davis.
Visitation will occur Friday, September 22, 2023, at Capstan Island Anglican Church.
Funeral will take place on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at L’Anse au Loup Anglican Church at 10:30 am with Rev Nellie Thomas officiating. Internment will follow at the Capstan Island Cemetery (L’Anse au Diable). A reception will follow at the Whalers Restaurant in Red Bay, NL, family and friends are invited to attend.
The family would like to express sincere thanks and gratitude to Dr Power and staff at the Labrador Health Centre and staff of the Health Science Centre, St. John’s, NL.
