It is with the greatest regret that the family announces the passing of Patrick Spence McCuaig on May 8,
2023. Beloved husband of 20 years to Jackie McCuaig (Lapointe) her gentle gentleman. Beloved son of Frank and Blanche McCuaig (predeceased). Brother to Darlene McCuaig of Ottawa. Loved by his nephew David Balkwill (Barbara) of Mass. USA and neice Sheila Maloney (Mike) of Orleans. Loving stepfather to Marcel Charron (predeceased), (Catherine) of Sudbury, Chantal Charron (predeceased). Adored step grandfather of Patrick Martin, (Samantha) of Hanmer, Zachary and Allen Charron of Sudbury, and special G-pa to Miley of Hanmer. He will be dearly missed by his great niece and nephew, Claire, and Connor Maloney. Patrick was born in Stratford, Ontario, eventually settling in Capreol. He worked at Mazzuca Chrysler for 40 years in the parts and services department before retiring. He enjoyed cooking, baking, and making his homemade bread. His several different kinds of fudge that was gifted to everyone was thoroughly enjoyed by many. Patrick’s hobbies were photography, traveling and baking and trains. He is now reunited with his best buddy and fur baby, Dusty, but leaves behind Gigi. As per Patrick’s wishes there will be no funeral. Cremation is entrusted to Parklawn Cremation Services. A celebration of life will take place on June 3rd, 2023 along side Marcel, at Chantal’s gravesite at Civic Cemetery on Second Ave. A celebration after burial at the Frood Hotel till 6pm. Donations can be made to the Cancer Society or Sick Kid’s Hospital Toronto, in Patrick’s name.
