Ravenda, Patrick Randall (Randy)
May 2, 1960 – March 23, 2023.
Following an acute onset battle with cancer, Randy passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, March 23, 2023. He is survived by Susan (Su) Young, his common-law wife of nearly 25 years with whom he shared a love of music, laughter, and sci-fi. Loving brother of Rosine Pulice (Victor) and proud uncle of Jonathan and Jenna Pulice. Much beloved by Su’s sister Colleen, brother Scott, Su’s entire extended family, and many friends and neighbours. Predeceased by his parents Tony and Wilma Ravenda. Randy was a builder—a “Jack-of-all-trades, master of most”. He spent many years driving for UPS in the ‘80s, then ventured out on his own renovating/building homes; and, most recently, installing & maintaining pools and building decks. He was also a lover of nature, his pets, and his home. Randy was an intensely private person, so a private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Many thanks to The Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus staff for their wonderful care. Donations to Vaccine Choice Canada are welcomed. You’ll be missed by many, Randy-man.
