It is with sadness that the family announce the passing of Patricia Ann Close on January 29, 2023, in Whitecourt, Alberta at the age of 65.
Patti had a deep love for her sons, family meant everything to her. She was known for her big heart, ever so loving, always forgiving with an amazing sense of humour.
Patti took enjoyment baking with her special grandchildren; they were very dear to her. She was always up for an adventure. Sharing activities such as camping, or the many road trips to go bowling with her boys was a true joy.
Patti leaves behind to mourn her loss sons, Charlie Cunningham and Thomas Mundie; brother, John Close; special friend Mara (Eddie) Hepp; special grandchildren, Clea, Ethan, Emily; ex-husband, Walter Cunningham as well as extended family and numerous friends. Patti was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Jean Close and brother Robert Close. Patti’s family wish to extend great appreciation to anyone who showed love to Patti and to all their close friends.
As a gesture of gratitude for Patti’s life, in lieu of flowers, the family has requested to make a memorial contribution to their charity of choice.
