Patricia “Pat” Louise Preiss, of Hanover, went to be with her Lord and Saviour, surrounded by her loving family and friends at Chapman House Residential Hospice in Owen Sound on Wednesday, January 11, 2023. She was 77.
Born in Walkerton on June 13, 1945 to the late Jerry and Ethel Liddel. Many people will remember Pat from her contageous smile and her time spent with the Salvation Army Thrift Store. She was front and centre for many years, giving back and volunteering to her community. She had a love for crocheting as well as being a number one fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Survived by children Brenda (John) Clubien, Bev (Carl) Ernest and Sharon Preiss. Loved grandmother of Heather, Denise, Fred, Tasha, Joe, Dennis, Stacey, Stephen, Carla, Nicole, Joseph and Josephine. Special great grandma of many great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her brothers Norman (Yvonne) Liddel and Jerry Liddel. Predeceased by her beloved husband Harvey and son John.
Family and friends are invited to a Visitation held at Salvation Army Hall in Hanover on Monday, January 16, 2023 from 10am until a time of a Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Captain Sterling Snelgrove officiating. Interment in Clifford Public Cemetery, Clifford.
Memorial donations to the charity of choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
