Peacefully at St. Peter’s Residence at Chedoke, in her 97th year, Patricia (Pat) passed away with her daughter Annette and son-in-law Todd by her side. Pat had such a strong faith and lived a very simple but full life. She is also survived by her three grandchildren Stephanie (Martin), Andrew (Kyle) and Jaclyn (Jourdain), her three beautiful great grandsons Étienne, Rémi and Quinn, and many loving nieces and nephews across the globe. Coming from a family of ten children, Pat emigrated from Scotland to Hamilton where she met her loving husband Peter at a Leander Boat Club dance and now, they can dance together once again.
A special thank you to the dedicated and hard-working staff at St. Peter’s who cared for Pat like one of their own family. They are the angels who helped her keep her dignity as well as her feisty Scottish wit.
Visitation, Friday, April 14, 2023, from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Avenue, Hamilton Ontario. Funeral Mass, Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 11:00 am, at Regina Mundi Catholic Church, Mohawk Road West at Upper Paradise, Hamilton Ontario.
