Patricia Dawn (Thompson) Stevens, passed away at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge on Sunday May 7, 2023. She was surrounded by her family.
Beloved mother of Shane Stevens and his wife Debbie, Caroline (Carrie) Olsen and her husband Michael, Kim Bracken and her husband Samuel, all living in Utah. Dearest grandmother of 21 grandchildren, and great-grandmother to 27 great-grandchildren.
Sister to Evelyn Thompson, Caroline Wood and her husband Gerhard. Preceded in death by Roy Albert Stevens, baby boy Craig Albert Stevens and baby girl Rebecca Lynn Stevens. Also preceded in death by brothers Carl, Leo, Joe and Vincent Thompson and brother-in-law Bill Thompson.
Patricia spent her life in service to so many. She was a devoted and faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Always engaged in family history, missionary work and ministering to others. Her greatest joy was loving and serving her entire family.
A funeral service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 995 Cedar Lane, Bracebridge, Ontario, Friday July 28 at 11:00 AM. A reception will immediately follow. Interment at Stevenson Cemetery, Port Sydney.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be greatly appreciated to be made to the “Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Missionary and Humanitarian Fund”. This can be done on the following website “philanthropies.churchofjesuschrist.org.”
