With heavy hearts, the family of Patricia Muise announces her passing, which occurred at home on Saturday, April 15th, 2023. Born in St. Martins on November 13, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Tom and Marie (Holland) Patterson, and the loving wife of the late Joseph Gerald Muise. Patricia worked at City Laundry at one time and did private house cleaning, but her main focus was her family. She was very active in her community, both with her 45’s and seniors groups. She loved Bingo, Horseshoes, and playing cards; especially Rummoli.
She is survived by her children; daughters Rosella (Tennyson), Susan (Gary), Bunny (Greg), Loralee (Peter), and Natasha (Jamie), son Thomas (Kim), brother Robert Patterson (Eunice), sisters Mary LeBlanc and Sheila Golding (Brian), along with 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents, Patricia was pre-deceased by her brothers Maxie and Hazen Patterson. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to her caregiver, Julie Daley.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. William’s Catholic Church on Thursday, April 20th at 2:00, with visitation being held at the church from 12:00 Noon until Mass time. Interment will take place in the church cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to Lakewood Headstart would be appreciated by the family.
