Love, Pat, of Port Elgin, passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Kincardine Hospital on Monday June 12, 2023 at the age of 71. Loving husband to Cathie Love (nee Stoddart). Proud father of Mike (Janine) and Kris (Heather), and grandfather of Eva, Cooper, Evaley, and Myles. Dear brother to Allan (Sandra) Love, Delene (Ken) Russell, Doran (Brenda) Love; Brother-in-law to Elaine Love, Helen Love, and Arlene Love. Survived by many nieces & nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Stan & Ruby, brothers, Bill, Arthur, and Glen, and by his granddaughter Eva Jane Love.
A gathering to Celebrate the Life of Pat Love will be held at the Saugeen Golf Club, 5278 Bruce County Rd 3, Port Elgin, on Sunday June 25, 2023 from 1-4 p.m.
Family graveside will be held at the Markdale Cemetery at a later date.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
