It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Pasquale Piscitello on January 8th, 2023 at the age of 90. Devoted husband of almost 60 years to Chiara (Battista). Loving father of Rosaria Odisho (Tomas), Charlie (Silvana) and Peter (Francesca). Adoring Nonno to his cherished grandchildren Addison, Addriana, Mia, Tiana, Serena, and Julia. One of 9 children, Pasquale is survived by his sisters Giuseppina, Angela, Domenica and Alfonsa, as well as his brother-in-law Vito Battista and sister-in-law Maria Lattanzio. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Born on July 27, 1932, in Realmonte, Agrigento, Italy, Pasquale immigrated to Canada where he married the love of his life and started a family. He will be remembered in our hearts as a hard worker devoted to providing for his family. He enjoyed tending to his garden, fishing, and hunting. He loved to play cards and could become quite competitive while playing 31 and Scopa. He enjoyed his many trips to the casino to play the slots, and was well known for his love of barbequing, no matter the weather – snow, rain, or shine. A special thank you to Dr. Ralph Profetto, as well as the emergency room and 8th floor staff at the General Hospital for their care and attention. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Friscolanti Funeral Chapel, 43 Barton Street East, Hamilton on Wednesday January 11, 2023 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral mass to be held at Our Lady of All Souls, 21 Barton Street West, Hamilton on Thursday January 12, 2023 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington.
