Loving mother of Ronald (Julie) from Kincardine, Melody (Mark Sturm) from Kitchener and mother-in-law of Sandra from Guelph.
Survived by sister-in-law Aggie Crane.
Predeceased by the late husband Orval B. (1989), daughter Pamela L. (1982), son Stephen (2017). Also her late sister Elaine Wagner and brother-in-law John Wagner of Dartmouth, N.S.
Grandmother of Theresa McMillan (Glen) of Guelph and Tegan Vermey (Daryl) of Chatham and Jacqueline Sturm (Bradley) of Waterloo.
Great grandmother of Sam and Andrew McMillan, Aviana and Jace Vermey and, Xavier, Miles and Parker Murray.
Aunt of Beverly Todd (Harry) of Lawrencetown, N.S. and Cindy Bottaro (Ken) of Dartmouth, N.S.
As a young woman in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia Pam met the love of her life Orval who was serving in the Royal Canadian Navy on the HMCS Columbia, Halifax. Orv and Pam moved to Kitchener with their 3 children Stephen, Ron and Pam. Melody was born shortly after. Pam and Orv were always together, and both retired after lengthy careers with Canada Post. Pam always enjoyed spending time with her family. Pam was a prolific knitter and spent many hours making sweaters, mittens and blankets for her family. Throughout Pam’s life, her most precious dogs gave her so much joy, love and affection.

As per Pamela’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a private family service at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society – Dementia Research or the Schlegel-UW Research Institute for Aging would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
