Pamela Daisy Littlefair, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2023 at Halifax, Nova Scotia. She was 91 years young. Her family is deeply saddened by her passing. Daughter of Robert Charles and Alice (nee Burnett). Pamela was born September 6th, 1931 Amesbury, Hampshire, United Kingdom.
Pamela is survived by her son, Charles (Roger) Littlefair, Daughter in Law Alison (nee Turpin) and Grandson Aiden, Forever remembered by her Canadian friends and family throughout Ontario and remaining family in the Newcastle UK, Sister-in-Law Norma, nephews Philip, Peter, Andrew (Loveday) and niece Debbie Stevens.
Pamela was predeceased by her husband of 49 years Charles Raymond Littlefair (Kirkwhelpington, Northumberland), Her sister Dorothy and brother Donald.
Pamela grew up in for a short period in Salisbury, before moving to Singapore, attending the Cameron Highland Boarding School, Kuala Lumpur until evacuation at the start of the Japanese invasion of Malaya 1942. Returning to the United Kingdom (Newcastle).
Pamela was a fun spirited soul who had many hobbies and passions. One of which included racing motorcycles as a young woman in hometown of Newcastle Northumberland and the Northeast UK (200 cc Times Trials). Emigrating to Canada in 1960, she married Ray in 1962 settling in Toronto Ontario. She had incredible artistic talent, loved to knit, quilt, sew, ceramics, dance, and singing with “Shout Sisters”. One of her favourite places was with family and friends at cottages/camps throughout the Muskoka and Kawartha regions of Ontario. An active member for many years in the Women’s Institute and the Lions Club (Wellington Ontario), Pamela exemplified community service helping to improve small town community life and spirit in the Wellington/Picton region on the Isle of Quinte.
Pamela was a beautiful person inside and out. Her smile was larger than life and would light up the whole room. She cared so deeply for the people around her. She was so loyal, kind and compassionate. She made an impact on many lives. She will be forever missed. Until we meet again.

  1. The Prince Edward County Lions Club (formerly the Wellington Lions Club) remember Pamela well!! She was a valuable member of our club, always involved in all of our service project’s and planning events. She was a hard worker and always had a smile. We have missed her incredibly since she left Wellington and are saddened to hear of her passing. We will cherish our memories of her and our thoughts are with the family.
