Norman Gallant, 82, of Moncton, passed away on Thursday June
15, 2023 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Minto, NB, he was
the son of the late Yvon and Alexina (Richard) Gallant.
Prior to his retirement, Norman spent numerous years working
at Lanes Bakery and Bonté Foods.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Rosia
(Cormier); two sons: Bernard and Robert; three brothers:
Léonard (late Loretta), Donald, Fernand
(Dorothé), and Vincent (Charline); one sister, Viola
Savoie; one sister in-law, Jeannette Gallant; two brother in-laws:
Albert Hébert and Léo Belliveau; as well as his
nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Paul;
three sisters: Germaine Hébert, Pauline Belliveau, and
Rachel Gauvin.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no visitation or
funeral service. In memory of Norman, a contribution to the CHU Dumont
Foundation would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the
professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton
(506-858-1900).
