Norma Ann Gertrude (Ennis) Bellamy
Peacefully to be with God, at the Perth Hospital on Tuesday September 5, 2023, at the age of 79. Beloved wife of the late Wilmer Bellamy. Loving mother to Andrew (Renee Seward), and Stephen (Patricia Edge). Survived by her cherished sisters Helen Earl (the late Hubert) and Donna Doelman. Predeceased by her parents Eva Walroth and T. Arthur Ennis. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and devoted friends.
Norma became an elementary school teacher in the 1960’s where she taught throughout the community for many years. Norma loved to travel and spent much time with her friends going on outings, playing cards, and watching her favorite baseball team, The Blue Jays. Her strong faith and love of God was an integral part of her life. She spent her time volunteering for the St. James Parish Guild, the Perth Fair Homecraft Committee, and the Canadian Cancer Society. Her presence in the church and community was strong and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
The family would like to thank the dedicated doctors and nurses who cared for Norma at the Kingston and Perth hospitals. Your compassion and care were insurmountable during this difficult time. Thanks to the many friends who visited Norma, sent cards, and called to express sympathy during her stay. A special thanks to her sister Donna for her love and support through this journey. The family is forever grateful for your guidance and wisdom during the most difficult times.
As per Norma’s wishes, cremation has taken place. To honour Norma, a memorial service will take place at St. James the Apostle Anglican Church, Perth on Tuesday, September 12th, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. A luncheon will follow in the church hall immediately after the service. We invite all her family and friends to attend.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. James the Apostle Anglican Church in Perth would be greatly appreciated.
