Obituary of Norine Marie Edgar
EDGAR, NORINE M. – Age 61, Enfield, NS passed away surrounded by her family, on Friday January 20th ,2023 at the QEII Halifax infirmary Site. Born in Bayside, she was a daughter of the late Reid Edgar Sr. and surviving mother Marion.
Norine had a great sense of humor, sometimes even a little saucy. She was compassionate to all animals, no matter how big or small. Along with nurturing her own pets, she found pleasure in taking care of her woodland friends who would visit her backyard feeders. Her favorite animal to watch was the beautiful butterflies. She was known to have a green thumb, and could bring any plant back to life.
Norine was happiest spending time with her family. She was extremely close with her son Joshua, who shared an unbreakable bond with his mother. She was a second mother figure to her niece, Candace McKenzie. She also had a strong, special bond with twin sister, Corinna.
She is survived by her son, Joshua (Brenna); mother, Marion; sisters, Debbie, Corinna, and Trudy (Dennis); only brother, Reid Jr. (Claudine); many nieces and nephews and extended family. She will always be lovingly remembered and missed.
Arrangements and Cremation have been entrusted to J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax. In keeping with Norine’s wishes there will be no visitation. A celebration of life will take place at a later date Feb19 @ 1pm waverley Legion 2234 Rocky Lake rd Waverley for Food and refreshments. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SPCA in Norines memory.
