Obituary of Norbert Fraser
Leo “Norbert” Fraser of Summerville passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, March 17, 2023 at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of Dianne (Graham). Loving and devoted father of Elaine Fraser and Lynn Docherty (Tim). Adored grampie of Ben. Brother of Jack Fraser. Survived by nieces and nephews Kim Guest, Tammy Backwell, Sheri DeCaluwe; Jack, Terry, Brian and Jo-Anne Magennis, Cindy McClumpha and Tracey MacDonald. Brother-in-law of Ronnie, Allan, Elaine, Ben, Blair and Shawn Graham. Norbert will be missed by many extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents William and Mary (Cain) Fraser; brother Gerard and sisters Betty Guest and Marie Magennis (Earl). Also predeceased by his Graham family: parents-in-law Guy and Martha Graham; brothers-in-law Larry and Boyd Graham and sisters-in-law Sheila Soloman (Roger) and Jessie Cain (Frank). Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford from where a visitation will be held on Thursday, March 23 from 4-7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 24 from St. Joachim’s Church, Vernon River at 10:30 am. Interment later in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joachim’s Church or PEI Life.
