Noel Howard (Howie) Sonmor peacefully passed away on June 12, 2023 at the CHUS-Hotel Dieu in Sherbrooke, Quebec.
He was born on November 30th, 1936 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan to the late Arnold and Joanna Sonmor. Noel is predeceased by his beloved first wife, Rheta Mullin. He is survived by his loving second wife, Celine Victor-Pepin and his siblings; Fern Watson (Murray, deceased), Roy (Eva), Grant (Joyce) and Ross (Anne, deceased).
Noel was the devoted father to Bryan (Kim), Wade (Manon) and Lori. He was the loving grandfather to Nickelle, Anders, Amy (Jacob), Javan (Erica), Sydnie (Conar) and his great-granddaughter, Lochlyn. Noel was the caring stepfather to Diane, Eric (Beatrice) and Aled. Noel will also be missed by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday July 2nd, 2023 at 2 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2775 rue Prospect, Sherbrooke, Quebec.
