Johnston, Murden Samuel peacefully at Hospice Renfrew on Friday, February 17th, 2023 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Marjorie (MacDonald). Loving father of Jane (Darin) and Dean (Jeris). Cherished Pops to Lindsay (McKenzie), Brittany (Riley), Scott (Sarah), Riley (Hillary) and Zoe (Ben). Great grandfather of Hadley, Camryn, Jeryn and Deacon. Murden is survived by his siblings Kathleen (Bill), Diane and Verna (late Jim)as well as his sister-in-law Marjorie (late Ellard). Predeceased by his parents John and Blanche (Andrews) Johnston as well as his siblings Ruby, Marjorie, Ellard and Heather. Murden will be missed by many nieces nephews and friends.
Professional Arrangements have been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Renfrew. There will be a private family Celebration of Life in the summer. Those desiring donations in memory of Murden, can be made to either Hospice Renfrew, or the Canadian Cancer Society, as these would be appreciated by the family.
