Deforest, Albert Maurice “Moe” – Peacefully on Sunday September 24th, 2023 at the Milton District Hospital. Moe, in his 78th year, beloved husband of Gini nee Williams. Loving father of Scott and Darrin (Jody). Proud grandfather of Adam(Kortney), the late Nathan, Mason (Sierra), Aidan, Owen and Jessica (Evan) and great grandson Karsen. Sadly missed by his brother Doug (Christine). Dear brother in law of the late Maureen (George), Joe (Lynda) and Keith (Joanne). Predeceased by his parents Harold and Rosie Deforest. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephew and close cousin Les Deforest. Moe was born and raised in Terra Cotta and spent his whole life working Deforest Bros Quarries.
Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown, 905-877-3631 on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday September 28th at 11:00 am. Interment Coningsby Cemetery, Erin. Memorial contributions to Children’s Wish or Cancer Assistance Services of Halton Hills would be appreciated.
