Our Father Mirko Žuna passed peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Tuesday, January 24th. 2023 at the young age of 62. Beloved husband of 42 years to Josipa Žuna; loving father of Zvjezdan (Svetlana) and Bojana (Przemyslaw); and proud grandfather of Nickolas Mirko Žuna.
Mirko will be deeply missed by his siblings Ivo, Zarko, Marko, Slavko, Daroslav, Josip, Marta, Stipo, Vjekoslav, Ankica and their families. As well as his sisters in law and brother in law Marinka, Ruza, Ljubica, Ljilja, Mico, Zlata and their families. As well as all his extended family both in Canada and overseas.
Dad, you left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide. Although we cannot see you, you’re always by our side. We’ll miss you forever, and we’ll love you for always!

Visitation will be held at Smith’s Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington on Monday, January 30th from 6:00pm – 9:00pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Croatian Roman Catholic Church, 2110 Trafalgar Road, Oakville, on Tuesday, January 31st at 11:00am. Burial to follow at Burlington Memorial Gardens, 3353 Guelph Line, Burlington.
