Obituary of Milton Thibodeau
It is with great sadness that the family of Delbert “Milton” Thibodeau announce his sudden passing. Born in Bloomfield Ridge , New Brunswick on October 17th, 1932 he was the son of Lee and Izella Thibodeau. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Thibodeau; son, Neil (Tina) Thibodeau; and daughter, Nancy (Dave) Buyting. He is also survived by grandchildren, Chantele (Cameron) Clark, Emma Buyting; and great grandchildren, Finnley and Oaklen Clark. He was predeceased by his sister, Yvonne Ross.
Milton was a lifelong mechanic having retired from the Department of Natural Resources. He was known as a Jack of all trades. Milton had a real passion for fixing tractors and a love for Massey Harris tractors in particular. For those that had the privilege of knowing Milton , he was someone who would give the shirt off his back to a stranger in need. He always looked forward to working on his garden, wood pile and feeding the birds around the house. He was gentle and caring – someone you couldn’t help but adore. He was a loving husband, father, grand father and great grandfather. He will be missed by many.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the loving care of York Funeral Home’s Miramichi Valley Chapel. Although there will be no public services at this time, a Graveside Service will follow in the spring at Parker’s Ridge Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
