Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on August 31st at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Beloved husband to Adalgisa for 65 years and devoted father to Ippolito (Amy), Franco (Tina), and Julia (Pat). Dear nonno to Alexandria (Anthony), Sabrina (Craig), Vanessa, Joseph, and great-grandfather to Alivia and Adamo. Cherished brother of Melina (Luciano), the late Franco (Saverina), Mario (the late Filomena) and brother-in-law of the late Amadeo (Antonietta), the late Carmela (the late Silvio). Predeceased by his parents, Ippolito and Giulia. Michele will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at St. Joseph’s Hospital for the compassionate care they provided Michele.
Bay Gardens Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. Visitation will take place Monday, September 4th at Bay Gardens Funeral Home (947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton) from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, September 5th at Regina Mundi Catholic Church (631 Mohawk Rd W, Hamilton) beginning at 10am. An entombment will follow Mass at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery
(600 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington). In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph’s Healthcare would be appreciated by the family.
