The death occurred at his home in Alberton, on Friday,
September 1, 2023, of Michael Robert Peterson, of Alberton and
formerly of New Market, ON, age 58 years. Born on January 11, 1965, he
was the son of the late Ida Lidstone. Dear father to Michelle Peterson
(Mark Jeffery) of Alma, Christy Worrell (deceased), Kayla (Chad)
Butler, of Cascumpec, Rebecca (Bill) Worrell, of Orillia, ON, Amber
Peterson (Greg), of Summerside, Julia Peterson, of Barrie, ON, and
Michael Peterson, of Alma. He will be sadly missed by his
grandchildren, Saba, Karma, Izabeth, Namora, Cassana, Meka,
Christopher, Calie, Andrea, Mackenzie, Carsen, Katie, Joshua, Lilly,
and Sophia. He is also survived by a brother, Michael, of BC, and the
following nieces and nephews; Jessica (Jeremy) Worrell and their
family, Kaydence, Kaelynn, Savannah, Brennyn, Adalyn, Gordon
(Whitney) Worrell and their family, Casey and Hannah, Andrea (Jimmie)
Hambly and their family, Lainey and Oaklynn, and Ricky (Tina) Monhan
and their family, Logan, Nevan and Aiden.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton, for
visiting hours Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A private family
committal service to be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery at a
later date and time.
