In loving memory of our Dad who peacefully passed at LaSalle Hospital on December 24, 2022 at the age of 92.
Beloved husband of the late Sylvia, with whom he spent 56 loving years of marriage with. Predeceased by his brother, Walter and parents Antin & Ahafia.
Our Dad/Didi was known for his sweet chivalry, kindness, thoughtfulness, positive outlook, words of wisdom and warm demeanor.
He will be missed dearly by his children Michael (Areta), Patricia (Carlo), Nadine (Jack) and precious grandchildren Andrew (Julie), Alexander (Megan), Marlena (boyfriend Marco), Olivia (boyfriend Giovanni), Sierra (boyfriend Adriano) and Austin. He leaves to mourn his sister, Mary Polischuk, nieces Cathy, Anna (children Faith & William), Darucia (Mike) and Myrosia (Darrell).
Extended family members in Albany, Toronto, Montreal, along with Father Vitt and all the wonderful parishioners from his cherished church, will miss his warm presence, charm and kind smile.
Our family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and nurses at LaSalle Hospital and Christopher Wright (caretaker from Les Services CDB) for taking such compassionate care of our father.
Viewing will take place in the summer at Yves Legare Funeral home at 7200 Newman boulevard in Lasalle on Friday, June 16, 2023 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Panahyda (religious ceremony) will be from 8:00-8:30 pm. On Saturday, June 17, 2023, a mass will be held at the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church at 1795 Grand Trunk in Point St. Charles at 9:30 am. Following the mass will be a burial of both parents together at Côte-Des-Neiges cemetery.
