Michael ‘Dean’ Crandlemire passed away at his home on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at the age of 65 years. Dean was born on June 1, 1958. Dean was a home body and he enjoyed spending his time at home on computers, gaming, building model war airplanes and 3D printing. He also loved old books, especially Tom Swift books and Saturday movie nights with his wife, Brenda. Dean worked at Parkland Mall in Red Deer, Alberta for twenty years in maintenance and security as well as at the Red Deer College for eighteen years at the front desk in security. Dean will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Brenda Lee Crandlemire, his brothers, Chris (Laurie) Crandlemire and Kevin (Vicky) Crandlemire, his father-in-law, Fletcher Waldo, his mother-in-law, Phyllis Waldo, his sister-in-law, Tammy (Sam) Wong, his brother-in-law, Brad Waldo and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Dean was predeceased by his son, Phillip Crandlemire and his parents, Al and Betty Crandlemire. As per Dean’s wishes no service will be held. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
