It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mervin Ward of Hawkesbury, Ontario, on Friday, January 20, 2023, at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Fernande Dubois McCulloch. Son of the late Lawrence Ward and the late Myrtle Copeland. Father of Joyce (David Downing), Kevin (Hélène Perreault) and Anthony (Julie Constantineau). Grandfather of five grandchildren and great-grandfather of one great-grandson. Also survived by Fernande’s children, Gail (Joffre Lévesque) and Glenn McCulloch; one brother, Bruce (late Donna McKinnon); two sisters, Ruth (late Thomas Fone) and Corinne (Ronald Plouffe) and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by three brothers, Brent, Gordon and Keith; one sister, Ina.
Mervin was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Hawkesbury, Branch 472. He served as its President and was actively involved in organizing its activities.
In order to respect his wishes, everything will be done in private.
