Meredith Jane (Vail) Cleghorn
1955-2023
Meredith J. Cleghorn of Harvey, NB passed away on January 30, 2023 at
Hospice Fredericton. Meredith was born on September 26, 1955 at
Fredericton, NB, a daughter of Marilyn (Trail) Vail and the late
Cedric Vail.
She was a graduate of Saint John School of X-Ray Technology and was
employed in that field in several New Brunswick hospitals.
Meredith is survived by her husband Reid Cleghorn; her children
Tiffany Cleghorn, Brent Cleghorn (Emily) and Robert Cleghorn
(Jessica); her mother Marilyn Vail, Brockway, NB; five grandchildren
who were the light of her life, Sophie, William, Daniel, Greta and
Adrian; her siblings Melanie Vail (Allen) and Lauren Vail (Karin); an
aunt and uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins and several close
friends.
She was predeceased by her father Cedric Vail; a brother Adrian Vail;
three uncles Carl Vail, Ralph Vail and Charles Trail.
There will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. A
graveside service will be held in the spring at Harvey Settlement
Cemetery.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Meredith, the
family has suggested Hospice Fredericton or Canadian Cancer
Society.
