Max Stellmacher passed away in Maple Ridge BC on July 9, 2023 at the age of 85.
Max was born i n New Sarepta, Alberta and spent all of his adult years in BC. He married Velma Causey in 1959 and they had two daughters – Tracey Mills and KerryMcCulloch (Shane) and four grandchildren – Katie, Jake, Taylor and Clayton.
Max raised his family in Vancouver and together with Velma, they enjoyed camping, square dancing, playing on numerous softball teams and socializing with his many lifelong friends. Dad loved a good party.
Family was very important to Max and he was so proud of his grandchildren and the kind, caring and accomplished people that they have become.
Max is pre-deceased byVelma and his grandson, Jake. In 2007, he married Judy Spencer- Jones and they had many years together inPitt Meadows and travelling south in their motorhome. They also made many great friends at Meadow Highlands Park.
A Celebration of Max’s Life will be held at Garden Hill Funeral Home 11765 224th Street, Maple Ridge, on August 12, 2023 from 12-2pm
