Maurice William Arthur, born in St. Marys, Ontario, passed away suddenly on May 21, 2023, at Stratford General Hospital with family by his side and in his 57th year.
He loved tinkering with electronics which led to owning and operating his own office equipment company. Maurice truly enjoyed getting to know his customers and would often talk about anything and everything anyone was open to discussing. He was a country boy at heart and loved living on the farm with his many rescued dogs.
Maurice was predeceased by his father Hugh Arthur and is survived by his mother Shirley Arthur, brothers Kevin (Petra), Brian and sister Nita Chambers (Shawn), along with nieces and nephews.
A formal public visitation and funeral service was not his wish and so family will be holding a Celebration of Life later this Summer. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of choice through Rutherford Cremation & Funeral Services. 804 Ontario Street, Stratford. 519-271-5062
