It is with great sadness the family of Matilda May of Garnish announce her passing at Blue Crest Nursing Home, Grand Bank on September 1st at the age of 89 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her sisters Gertie Walters and Alma Myles; brother-in-law Frank; sisters-in-law Edith, Rowena, Blanche and Melita and very special friends Enos May and Elaine Grandy; many nieces and nephews plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by husband Charles, brother Arch, Uriah and Gordon, sister Francis and special niece Edna May.
Family will be accepting visitors on Saturday, September 2nd from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin.
Funeral Service will take place from Serenity Chapel on Sunday at 3:30 PM with interment following at Anglican Cemetery, Garnish.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Giles Anglican Church Cemetery Fund, Garnish.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Burin.
