On February 19, 2023, Mrs. Mary Rose Stamp of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 82 years. She is survived by 5 children, Peggy White, Shirley (Wilfred) Whiskeyjack, Rosina, Joey & Melvin (Jen) Stamp; 20 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Jonas White & Alex (Alsena) White; nephews, nieces, cousins & friends – all loved by her. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Stamp; son, Brian; parents, Micheal & Velma White; brothers, Edward White, Chuck White, Raymond White, Joe Cardinal, Julian White, Louie White & Eric White; sister, Emelia Plante; grandsons, Robert Stamp, Riel Stamp, Justin Jackson & Dustin Wood. Special thanks to Two Hills Long Term Care – all staff & nurses, with a very special thanks to the doctors and nurses who cared for Mary. A Wake will be held on Friday, February 24 (leaving Grace Gardens at 2:00 p.m.) at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 25 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
