It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Mary Priscilla Grandy of Grand Bank announces her passing. Mary passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Blue Crest Nursing Home in Grand Bank on Tuesday, April 25th, 2023, at the age of 87.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her son, Barry Grandy (Dolores) of Grand Bank; daughters, Brenda Grandy of Fortune, Beverley Matthews (Wade) of Grand Bank; grandchildren, Chris (Loranda), Heather (Matthew), Vanessa (Rick), Kelly (Matthew), Kerry; great grandchildren, Alana, Wyatt, Saoirse, Morgan, Beau; special fur grandbaby, Sophie; brother, Alec Noseworthy (Ella); brothers in-law, Eric (Doris), George (Doreen); sisters in-law, Joan (Roland), Christine Grandy; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Mary was predeceased by husband, Gordon; parents, Gordon & Janie Noseworthy; parents in-law, Simeon & Caroline Grandy; brother in-law, Arthur Grandy; niece, Deneen Grandy.
The Grandy Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home Grand Bank on Thursday, April 27th, 2023 from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Friday, April 28th, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Funeral Service will take place at Wiseman’s Funeral Home, Grand Bank on Saturday, April 29th, 2023 at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at Grand Bank United Church Cemetery.
In Mary’s memory donations may be made to Blue Crest Nursing Home’s Cuddle Bed Project or flowers gratefully accepted. Donations for the Cuddle Bed can be made at the following website www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/the-burin-peninsula-health-care-foundation-inc/?mprompt=1
