McElroy (nee Curley), Mary Catherine – Peacefully, on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at the Bingham Memorial Hospital, Matheson. Mary McElroy beloved wife of the late Thomas John McElroy for fifty years. Loving mother of John and his wife Helene, Brendan, Barbara (the late Andrew MacKay), Michael (Judy) and the late Kevin. Loved grandmother of Brendan (Polina), Shannon, Crystal, Ryan (Vanessa), Alexandra (Kevin), Cassandra (Marco) and Lisa (Andre), and great grandmother of Benjamin, Hunter, Zachary and Alexander. Dearest aunt of Karina, Una and John. Predeceased by brothers Michael, John, Patrick and Owen, sister in law Cait, and niece Mary. Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Sunday, September 10, 2023 between 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 14400 Argyll Road, Georgetown on Monday at 10:30 a.m. Reception to Follow at the Trafalgar Room – Jones Funeral Home. Cremation to follow. In memory contributions to Holy Cross Catholic Church would be appreciated.
