It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mary Barbara Kirkland (O’Quinn) at the Health Science Center on January 10, 2023, after a brave battle with cancer.
Predeceased by her parents Mike O’Quinn and Barbara O’Quinn and brother-in-law, Robert Kirkland Jr.
Left with many wonderful memories are her loving husband of 27 years, Tony Kirkland; her adored children Tony Kirkland Jr. and Ashley Kirkland; brother Mike O’Quinn (Kathy Dunne), parents in law; Robert and Joan Kirkland; brother-in-law, Keith (Carol) Kirkland, sister-in-law Kimberly (Scott) Edwards, sister-in- law, Suelynn Kirkland (Dignard) (Jeff Farage) and many loved nieces, nephew and extended family and friends.
Special thank you to Dr. Renee Lester, Dr. Louise Rogers and the team at the Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Center and the Pain and Symptom Management team at the Miller Center for their care and support.
Visitation to take place at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Rd, on Thursday, January 12, 7-9 pm and Friday, 10-12 pm, 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held from Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 340A Newfoundland Dr. (St. Paul’s) on Saturday, January 14 at 10:00 am. Interment announced at a later date.
