Switzer; Marvin James – Peacefully at his home with his wife on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 in his 62nd year. Beloved husband of Kate (nee Ashley). Loving father of Michael (Samantha), Napanee and Jennifer Taylor (Graeme), Toronto. Dear brother of Janice Switzer (Wayne Wood), Napanee. Predeceased by his loving parents LaVerne & Virginia Switzer. Loving son in law of Peter and Robin Ashley, loving brother in law to Duncan (Kim) Ashley Amherst Island, and Paul Ashley of Kingston.
The family will receive loving friends at the Wartman Funeral Home, Napanee on Friday, September 15th, 2023 from 6-8 pm for a casual remembrance and Saturday, September 16th, 2023 for a celebration of life from 12 noon to 2:30 pm for words of memoriam and a Masonic Service at 2:30 pm. Aquamation has taken place. Interment at Newburgh Cemetery at a later date.
Friends desiring may contribute in Marvin’s memory to the Kids Inclusive Child Development Centre – UHKF, The Toronto General Hospital Peter Monk Cardiac Transplant Program, or Frontenac Masonic District Project.

    Marvin touched the lives of many people at Hotel Dieu Hospital. He was very dedicated and caring.
    My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in a very special way.
    May God’s comfort and strength be with you .
