Martin David McKee

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Martin (Marty) McKee of Picton, on Monday, June 26th, 2023 at the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital. Marty was the son of the late William (Billy) McKee. He was the loving son of Suzanne Schroedter (Wilfred) of Ameliasburgh. Loving husband and best friend of 28 years to Michele McKee (nee Brown). Loving brother to Bonnie Nicholson (Alan) of Warkworth. Marty was a loving father to Laura, and Nikk (Tamara). He was predeceased by his granddaughter Trinity. Marty was a loving grandfather to Hailey, Hayden, Jade, Cohen, Correy-Ann, Emmett, Justice, Jack, Calum and Laurynn. He also will be missed dearly by many nieces, nephews aunts, uncles, cousins and many more that he chose to be a part of his family. Marty will be fondly remembered by all who knew him for his kind and loving personality/ generosity.
Marty rested at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613-476-2450). There will be a Private Graveside Service held, and A Celebration of Marty’s Life will be held at a later date to be announced.
