Martha passed away peacefully with family at her side on June 13, 2023.
Those she leaves to cherish her memory are her children Richard and Christine, Ashley and Mitchell and Mandy; her grandchildren Brooklyn, Carter, Madison, Leah, Preston, Axyl and Aidyn; her siblings Marinus (Leona), Gerda (Jerry), William (Darcy), Ben (Tracy), Eddie, Martin (Tracey); many nieces, nephews, extended family and a large circle of close friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Harry and Nellie, brothers Tim and Pat.
Martha was raised on the family dairy farm in Lorette. It was there that she grew into the strong, independent woman we all loved. Her love for family was unmatched and nothing pleased her more than being surrounded by those she called family. She found a passion for gardening and spending days creating exquisite arrangements. She looked forward to her yearly vacations spent with her siblings.
The biggest highlight of Matha’s life was her children and grandchildren, she cherished every moment spent with them.
A service for Martha will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Sainte Anne Roman Catholic Church, 162 Central Avenue in Ste. Anne, Manitoba. The funeral can be viewed online at www.paroissesteanne.ca – click the word LIVESTREAM on the upper blue header.
Special thanks to the staff of Ste. Anne Hospital for all the care and compassion given to our mother.
In lieu of flowers, donations to CancerCare would be appreciated.
