The family of Marshall Maxwell Christie are saddened to announce his passing on Friday May 26, 2023 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Thomson Station, NS, he was a son of the late Max and Marjorie (Oderkirk) Christie. Marshall will be deeply missed by his loving wife Suzanne Giasson; his children: Walter “Wally” Christie, Sherry Christie, and Toni Christie (Rob Scott) all of Calgary, AB, Charles Brunet (Holly Aldcorn) of Peace River, AB, and Josee Tait (Devin) of Saint John, NB; his siblings: Pat Carter, Mae Blackburn, and Donald Christie (Debbie) all of Alberta, Jack Christie (Elizabeth) of Nova Scotia, Brenda Pollock (Brian) of Elgin, NB, Susan Goodwin (Allen) of Moncton, NB, Fred Christie (Koren) of Calgary, AB, Heather Woods of Alberta, and William Christie (Normande) of Moncton, NB; his grandchildren: Nicole Christie (Nigel), Natasha Christie, Sophie-Anne Richard, Jean-David Brunet (Danika), and Andrew Tait (Jessica); his great-grandchildren: Lucas Li, Haley Li, Logan Richard, Jaxon Richard, Brynnlee Brunet, and Oliver Tait; his sister-in-law Marlene Christie of Dorchester Cape, NB; as well as by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and good friends. As well as by his parents, Marshall was predeceased by his brother Edward Christie. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424). There will be a Celebration of Life for Marshall at a time and date to be announced. Donations to a charity of your personal choice would be appreciated by the family.
