Obituary of Marion Edgley
Entered into rest at Wellington House, Prescott on Sunday January 8, 2023 with family by her side. Margaret “Marion” Edgley (nee Grier) of Brockville aged 88 years. Joining her recently departed beloved husband of 60 years Robert “Bob” Edgley. Loving mother of Kathy Uniacke (Conrad), James Edgley (Jacqui) and Steven Edgley. Cherished grandmother of Kate, Cass, Talmage (Amanda), Harrison (Sammy), Nicole, Natasha, Aishah (Ryan), Ollie and Brendan. Great Grandma of Raelynn, Harper, Arielle, Blake and Zoey. Marion is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents Carmen and Marguerite Grier (nee Shields) and brother Harold Grier of Lansdowne. She will be greatly missed by her extended family and friends.
The family expresses great gratitude to the staff at Wellington House, who are all masked super heros, for all their care and support of Marion and us.
Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville, on Friday January 20th. from 6 – 8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday January 21st., 2023 at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Rockport Cemetery. In memory of Marion, donations to St. James Anglican Church or Wellington House Residence Council would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
