Marion Elizabeth Fess, age 82, of Stratford, passed away peacefully at Spruce Lodge (Stratford), surrounded by her family on Tuesday, April 11,2023. Born in Lucknow, ON, daughter of the late John and Luella (Ferrier) Ross. True love and best friend of her husband Douglas Clinton Fess of 64 years of marriage. Proud mother of Ken (Mei) Fess and Kevin (June)Fess. Loving grandmother of Nicole (Johnny), Billy, Natasha (Josh) and great grandmother of Hunter, Sierra and Riley. Marion will be fondly remembered by her brother Bowen (Gillian) Ross and her brother-in-law Doug (Betty) Baird along with the Fess Family and her many nieces and nephews. The family would like to sincerely thank Marion’s dear friend Judy Benoit for all of her love and support over the years and to the entire staff of Spruce Lodge for the care and compassion given to Marion, especially the staff of Cottage C, it is all very much appreciated. Besides her parents, Marion was predeceased by her siblings Elva (Fred) Richardson, Harvey (Shirley) Ross, Arnold (Dorothy) Ross and June Baird. In keeping with Marion’s wishes, cremation will take place and there will not be any service or visitation.
