Obituary of Marion M. (Bell) Grzadka
Marion Grzadka of Fredericton NB passed away peacefully on July 7, 2023 at Shannex (Neill Hall) in Fredericton. Born in Chatham NB on May 15, 1929, she was the daughter of Arthur and Ruby (Kerr) Bell and wife of the late Miroslaus (Mike) Grzadka.
Marion graduated from high school recieving the Govenor General Medal. She attended Mount Allison University graduating in 1956 with a degree in Fine Arts, and later obtained a Masters of Education from UNB.
Marion began her teaching career in Chatham in 1957 and retired from the Oromocto School District in 1990.
In addition to her parents and husband Marion was predeceased by her brother Robert.
Marion is survived by her sister-in-lawJeannette Grzadka of Winnipeg and several nephews and nieces.
Thank you to the nurses and staff of Neill Hall for the compassion and care provided to Marion during her stay at Shannex.
Marion loved animals, especially her cats, so for those who wish, remembrances may be made in her name to Fredericton/Oromocto SPCA.
A graveside service will be held at the Hermitage Cemetery in Fredericton on July 20, 2023 at 2:00 pm. Arrangments are entrusted to McAdam’s Funeral Home, 160 York Street, Fredericton, NB.
