It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Marino Mancini on February 28, 2023 at the age of 88.
Beloved husband of the late Rita Teodori, cherished father of Alfredo (RoseMarie), Tony (Anna) and James and devoted grandfather of Michael and Alexander. He will also be deeply missed by his brothers and sisters and many relatives and friends.
Marino was born in Agelli, Italy and came to Canada in 1953. He worked in the mines in Nova Scotia before arriving in Montreal where he quickly landed a job at Nortel. Mario, as he was known to his friends, was a humble man who professed to know nothing, but, in fact, had a wide range of knowledge. We dubbed him ”WikiMario”. We will miss him deeply. He was our hero, our rock.
