Marija Bogovic
We mourn the death of Marija Bogovic, who passed away on January 9, 2023, at 88 years of age.
Marija was a beloved mother to Antonia (Kurt), and Christine, and grandmother to Kate and Tina.
She was born in Cetingrad, Croatia (former Yugoslavia), and came to Canada in the 1960s to seek a better life.
Maria lived a joyful and independent life up until her recent diagnosis of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). She loved to garden, cook, and spend time with her grandchildren and close friends.
Our family would like to give thanks to the caregivers from Extendicare Brampton, Brampton Civic Hospital, and Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga.
