Obituary of Marie Templar
Templar; Marie Elizabeth Ann – Passed away peacefully at Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Thursday, February 17, 2023 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by her husband Andrew in 1998. Marie is survived by her loving children Deb Hart (Doug), Sue Templar-Vowles (Craig) and Steven Templar (Jennifer) and daughter-in-law Alice. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Meagan (Shaun), Laura, Ryan (Ashley), Blair (Justin), Scott (Meagan), Thea, Alexander, Josh, Gabby, Georgia and Jack and great-grandchildren Collin, Nora, Clara, Owen, Jaxon, William and Matilda. She will be remembered fondly by her brothers Victor Braney (Georgia) and John Braney (Danielle). Marie was predeceased by her son Tim Templar and grandchild Baby Templar.
The family would like to thank the staff at Trillium Long Term Care, Court Building, Heritage Floor for all the care she received. They would also like to express their gratitude for the care she received while in KGH.
Marie’s neighbours and friends on Kingsdale Avenue became family to her and she enjoyed all the time she was able to spend with them. They spent a lot of time looking out for each other.
Cremation has been entrusted to James Reid Funeral Home and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the Kingston Humane Society.

  1. Marie was a “neighbour” to my mother at Trillium. I would see her each day I visited and she quickly became one of my dearest elders to chat with. What a lovely woman ! I am sad with her loss.
