Obituary of Marie Dara Engelhardt
Marie Dara Engelhardt (Nee Hebert)
Peacefully at Strathmere Lodge on April 16th, 2023, Marie Engelhardt passed away at the age of 96. Loving wife of the late Klemens Engelhardt. Beloved mother of Linda Pilgrim, Ron Engelhardt, Rick (Lorie) Engelhardt, and Darlene (Joseph) Heindl. Marie will be dearly missed by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marie was predeceased by her brother Joseph Hebert.
Marie was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Marie had a soft spot for animals, especially cats. She was lovingly known as the “cat lady” because of her impressive collection of cat themed knick-knacks and her many beloved pets over the years.
As per Marie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of her life will take place at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to DENNING’S OF STRATHROY.
