Obituary For Marie “Thérèse” Marcelle Dubord
Thérèse Dubord, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at the age of 95 years.
Thérèse was born in Montreal, QC, and came to Alberta at the age of 19. She married Arthur Dubord and together they farmed South Kleskun Lake for 15 years before moving to Grande Prairie.
Thérèse will be remembered for her loving nature, love of family, patience to teach everyone in cooking, and her sewing. She was kind and a good friend. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and bingo.
Thérèse will be sadly missed by her children: Andre (Jan), Louis, Marie-Anne, and Pierrie (Lisa); grandchildren: Jody, Vanessa, David, Kim, James, and Kelly; her 12 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews in Quebec.
Thérèse was predeceased by her son Marcel; husband Arthur; sisters Christine and Margo; brother Réne; as well as nephew Leo.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
